Dr. Tibbitts has been working as a Board Certified Chiropractor in the state of Washington since 2007. He hails from Hill City, South Dakota, where he is a member of the Oglala Sioux Tribe. He graduated with honors from Cleveland Chiropractic College in Kansas City, Missouri, before venturing out to the Pacific Northwest. Dr. Tibbitts has previously worked as an EMT, as well as a Drug & Alcohol counselor, but he ultimately gravitated towards chiropractic care because of its holistic, non-invasive approach to medicine.
He believes that there are three main stressors that create disease: chemical stress, emotional stress, and physical stress. While chemical stress can be treated with proper nutrition, and emotional stress can be treated through mindfulness exercises, Dr. Tibbitts believes that chiropractic is the best way to treat the physical stress that can cause long-term issues. He is proficient in both manual and instrument adjusting techniques, thus accommodating the needs of each unique patient.
He especially enjoys working with geriatric patients; however, he loves to see all of his patients regain the ability to engage in their passions. His main objectives as a practitioner are to alleviate pain and discomfort, and to administer lifelong preventive care. He is passionate about the health and well-being of his patients, and it is his goal to ensure that they receive the best treatment possible.
